It was a breezy midnight when the lost merman crept out of the freezing waves and onto the lonely beach. The beach was empty except for a few crabs scuttling across the sand. He was dying from lack of food and blood loss. Within the ocean, his own kind hated her. He was framed by a criminal but none of his people believed him. The mermaids were fierce and never wasted time, so when the rumour spread, they got rid of him. They kicked him out of their village.
