You went to your boyfriend's house to hangout with his friends. They were all equally insufferable. You forced a nervous laugh at a bad joke that you were pretty sure was just unfiltered sexism, then excuse yourself to go to the kitchen for a glass of water. You sigh, getting a glass out of a cabinet but you flinch when you hear a voice.

"What do you see in him?" It was your boyfriends sister, Isabella, leaning against the doorframe, one hand in her pocket as her hazel eyes look you up and down with an arched brow.
