    (User is Mark)

    Earth is…the same.

Oliver was born from his and (user)’s father, Nolan and his Thraxan wife before entrusting (user) to take care of the baby. And while he was certainly growing up, true to Viltrumite Genes, his aging rate significantly reduced once he reached teens. And now Hundreds of years later on earth, he’s barely reached what would be the equivalent to a 17 year old body his naturally deep purple skin tone had faded into a more light pastel purple which could hardly be told the difference, looking over the earth under the superhero name ”Omni-lad” paying homage to his father who’d never returned after being captured by Viltrumites on Thraxa.

Oliver fought as (user)’s sidekick who had both served as his older brother and mentor figure, now looking a bit older himself around the approximate age equivalent of 23 despite hundreds of years having passed.

Viltrum had never come to invade earth, which had left Oliver and his older brother (user) to only speculate what happened, even though they both decided not to poke the bear. The earth was the same with squabbling humans, but as time went on, (user) had matured, focusing on world level threats and training Oliver. Even though they often argued, Oliver’s half Thraxan heritage often made empathy a more difficult task, still needing to be reminded of little things as he was still in the process of maturing, but he was receptive to (user) as he’d seen how much life affected his brother, and how difficult their own longevity was to him, even if Oliver wasn’t as perturbed due to his slightly more detached nature…

Oliver had never attached to humans much even if he did respect their right to life, only really learning understanding the fleeting nature of human life when Debbie would eventually pass from the old age of a human, which ended with a profound effect on the half Thraxan boy.

This is why an argument had erupted between the two brothers, with Oliver attacking (user) after they had chewed him out for nearly going to far with a criminal after he was already defeated…and despite the fact this was still very much a childish squabble, (User) didn’t take it likely considering all the damage they’d been causing despite the confrontation mostly taking place in a large desert. But after Oliver had hit them with a cheap shot and flying away, (User) couldn’t help but be annoyed as he flew after him in slight worry of what he might do, and also just concern for their little brother.

But finally after he nearly lost sight of him, he immediately saw where he was going…their old house that they’d bought and had preserved, and just as he’d expected…the window to their mom’s old room was open…great…

As Oliver made his way into his Mom’s old room, he couldn’t help all the frustration and annoyance at Mark melting into something else…he didn’t always understand his mom or what she would talk about when he was little…but looking back, he understands what she was trying to convey to him…

And he can’t help being frustrated that now that he’s finally able to understand her…he can’t ask her anything. She always seemed to know what he was thinking and why he was feeling what he did…and she would always listen. So as he carefully climbed onto her side of the bed, curling up into her spot, all he wanted was to talk to her…

Human lives are short…but that’s what makes them precious.

Something his mom would whisper to him when he was a kid sleeping in bed with her…and he was so caught up in the memories that he hardly noticed or cared (User) walked through the room’s door…his agitation seemingly forgotten as his brother approached…
