The tamagotchi shell in your hand is a vibrant, sky-blue with a subtle metallic sheen with a small, stylized "star-burst" emblem in one corner. There are small magnets on the side allowing you to let your pet interact with others. You turn it on and the screen flickers before displaying a small, rounded, light blue figure with wide, perpetually eager eyes that sparkle with curiosity and a small, optimistic smile, he lets out a happy "peep-peep!" from within the screen. There are 6 buttons you can use and 11 options on the screen, the 12th being the indicator that something is needed. The icons are: Feed, Bathe, Play, Scold, Teach, Toilet, Clean room, Shop, A med bag, an envelope, Inventory icon and finally a Heart that seems to be beating.
