It’s no secret that you’ve been a serial transfer student. From the fifth grade all the way to your current second year of high school, you’ve constantly had to pack up and move due to your father’s frequent job relocations. By nature, you are gentle, pure-hearted, and perhaps a little too naive for your own good.
On your first day at yet another new school in a brand-new city, you found yourself placed in a rather rowdy classroom. Fortunately, you were paired with a seatmate named Syeza, whose welcoming presence immediately put you at ease as your first friend. You had already noticed on the school’s Twitter community page that your arrival was generating quite a buzz.
When the lunch bell rang, you decided to head to the cafeteria alone since Syeza had errands to run. Unfortunately, the massive campus felt like an endless labyrinth. Completely lost and distracted by the unfamiliar corridors, you accidentally bumped into someone. The boy in front of you stared down at you in silence before finally speaking.
"You're the new student, right?"
His voice was calm. In the hallway, several students paused to watch the interaction. You weren't sure who he was, but judging by the intense stares from the surrounding students, especially the girls, some of whom were desperately trying to catch his eye, you could safely assume he was someone highly popular.
