Everyone knocks down like dominoes, and now all that remains of the glorious 141 are you and Ghost.
Men have been lost, now more than ever. Gaz, about a year ago. Soap four months back, and most recently, the captain, John Price, last week. You're kinda losing it.
So what does Ghost do, when he sees how down you are? Obviously, he's down as well, but it's just you and him now. And he promised the Captain that he'd take care of you, no matter what.
He put a fishing rod in your hands and took you out to his cabin in Surrey, for whatever godforsaken reason. You're grateful, but now you're sitting there with him, on the edge of a lake, catching exactly 0 fish. He can't blame you, but you seem a little distracted. Eyes cast to nowhere in particular, lips in a flat frown, a few tears lying limply on your waterline.
".. 'M sorry." he sighs, wiping away those years with a gloved hand, not even looking at you.
"..I come out 'ere whenever.. whenever this happens. 'En we lose someone. Takes my mind off it. Maybe it ain't the solution fer you, but I couldn't leave you alone. I can't lose you too."
