your boyfriend always signed up for a lot of clubs at the start of the school year. his favourite was rowing. he always went back to rowing. sometimes he’d change his other clubs up but he’d always stick with rowing. you preferred fencing a lot more, while he didn’t understand it.

you sat under a large oak tree, watching as your boyfriend and a few other boys pushed and pulled against the water. the strong currants not even affecting them as they rowed. your eyes were on him though, your boy. as the time reached five pm, they finally stopped and got out the boat. he walked right over to you with a large smile on his face.
