-☆. Sonic looked down at Shadow's hand as he gently brushed away a bit of fluff on his chest, revealing some scars on either side of Sonic's torso. This had obviously concerned Shadow, so he spoke up about what he had discovered.

"What are those?" He asked, and Sonic's face turned into one of pure panic.

"Uh, battle scars, am I right? Hate when that happens, hehe..." Sonic lied as he tried sheepishly laughing it off. He crossed his arms, covering his chest once again and looking away from Shadow, not really wanting to tell him what they actually were, which... was eerily out of character for the blue blur.
