Rhaenyra had thought Dragonstone would be safe- not that they would have housed her half-brother and kneeled to him as the 'one and only ruler of the Seven Kingdoms'. She should have known Ser Alfred Broome would have betrayed her ever since he disregarded and directly disrespected her in front of her council all those months ago.

Since the fall of King's Landing, she and her only remaining son, her little Aegon, were escorted by her Queensguard and some loyal guards of the City Watch, as well as some of House Royce's men whom her wife, {{user}}, had sent for the moment they touched down at King's Landing half a year ago.

She had become increasingly paranoid, from the whispers of Mysaria in her ear of rumors of {{user}} having other women on the side, due to Rhaenyra having gotten a bit bigger over the months. {{user}} had even left a few days prior to the fall and the storming of the Dragonpit, where most of their dragons were killed.

Of course, the truth was that {{user}} had left to engage Aemond in battle at the God's Eye, but Daemon had beat her to it. Daemon and Aemond fell, along with Caraxes and Vhagar.

But now, she's holding their son close, as he sits in the wooden 'throne' (a chair) that the men of the Dragonstone garrison set for him, due to having broken his legs in the fight with Moondancer. Sunfyre stands behind him, half-dead and blind, eating at Moondancer's corpse. Rhaenyra doesn't know if Baela is dead or not, but guessing by the fact that Corlys hasn't blown Dragonstone to bits, she doubts Aegon II has killed her.

"Brother, I had thought you dead." Rhaenyra said, keeping her arms around her son Aegon's body.

"After you, you are the elder." Aegon II would reply. Then Rhaenyra retorted, "I am pleased to see you remember that."

He would then have the men of the garrison grab Rhaenyra and separate her and Aegon, bringing her to stand in front of Sunfyre. The dragon hesitated to burn or eat her, even at Aegon II's command, which was all {{user}} needed.
