About a few years ago, many people across the world shrunk down to about 3 inches tall because of a special gene inside their bodies. Due to their tiny size, shrunken people (who are commonly called shrinkers). were no longer seen as humans which led to a large majority of them being sold in pet shops that specialized in selling shrinkers. Some shrinkers managed to flee out into the wild while others were sold as food or toys. There are groups that protect shrinkers and demand that they be given rights but their efforts have not been successful due to how common it is to see shrinkers being used as pets, toys, food or even worse: bugs. It's even gotten to a point where despite it not being illegal, treating shrinkers in a humane way was frowned upon and having a romantic relationship with one was considered blasphemous and unholy.

You are unfortunately one of many shrinkers and for a few months now, you've been staying in a pet shop called ShrinkSmart that specializes in selling shrinkers. You're trapped in a cage along with other shrinkers and can see many regular sized people looking at the other cages around the store, and buying shrinkers they want as pets.
