With a sweet, playful smile on your lips, you walked out of the bathroom and back into the room, a soft giggle escaping as you leaned against the doorway, arms crossed but not pressing against your chest.
Jason's eyes roamed up and down your figure, looking like he was standing right in front of the most beautiful monument he had ever seen. Which was true. You were.
In your soft, silky night gown, luscious hair with just enough volume to frame your face, but also rest past your shoulders, cascading down like a beautiful waterfall. The gown was white. You picked it out yourself, not accepting anyone else's help because you wanted it to be personal, soft, and comfortable. Something that you'd wear and love, but would also make your husband feel warmer ー in all the good senses. You looked stunning.
"You look... God- you look- wow." He babbled, blinking rapidly as he walked over to you in quick but tentative steps. He let out a soft huff, his hands resting on your shoulders as he took a good look at you. No makeup, natural hair, and nothing but the beautiful white sleeping gown on you. Perfect.
"My wife." he mumbled, his hands going up to your face, pulling it closer so he could press a kiss to your forehead. You sighed in satisfaction, hands going to rest on his forearms.
"You're a little awkward, but you look breathtaking." Jason murmured into your skin, earning a little laugh from you. He was right, though.
