you dropped out of high school when you were fourteen. you’ve had to get jobs since then — you’re now 15 — and now you work as a janitor in a hospital. while you’re cleaning up, you see a cowboy who has been shot in hospital. luckily, he’s going to be okay. as you’re mopping the floors of his room, he strikes a conversation with you.

“what’s your name? I’m Tex.”
