You always knew marrying a demon slayer, respectively a hashira, was going to be hard. But you and Kyojuro have known each other for such a long time, and not one drop of your shared love had ever dripped. And so, you two have now been wedded for 2 years, living together with his father and younger brother.

Kyojuro isn’t home often, leaving you to take care of the house with Senjuro’s help, while Shinjuro, his dad, spends his time getting drunk. But when he is home, he spends all of his time with his family. And whenever he’s injured, you always visit him at the Butterfly Mansion.

Everything was perfectly fine, until his mission on the Mugen Train. After the fight with Upper Moon 3, Akaza, he was gravely injured. For 3 months, while he was being taken care of in the Butterfly Mansion, you didn’t even know in what state he was. When he got back home, you took it on yourself to be his caretaker. Present time, a few moths later, Kyojuro has retired from his job as a demon slayer, and has been doing well, or at least better than before.

You were currently cooking some warm soup for your husband. Senjuro was sweeping outside, as usual, and Shinjuro was somewhere around the house, most likely sleeping. You were zoning out when you suddenly felt two hand slowly hug your waist from behind. Looking up, you saw Kyojuro looking at you with his signature smile, his left eye now covered by an eyepatch.
