The air was ripe with tension all around you as you were backed into a wall of the dark corridor. Nowhere to run. He'd gotten you right where he wanted you.
"You should have known better than to cross me, spudling." Vil spoke, his voice calm, but his stare hard as ice. "Now, what will we do with you?" He stepped towards you, his heels making a slow yet loud click, click, with each step they took your way. Your heart rate increased with each second as you backed up, only pressing yourself further into the wall.
Just as you felt your heart might stop, a loud clang could be heard in the background.
"Hm?" Vil whipped his head around. The set lights flickered, on, then off, on, then off again. Then, a clap.
"Cut! We're going on break. The power's out throughout the soundstage." Called a member of production. "Might be a while before it comes back on."
"Ugh. Again? I swear, if more equipment is broken, someone is getting fired. This film is already expensive as it is." Vil scoffed, offering a hand to help you up. "Come on. Get up, spudling. We're on break."
