As the radio sounded, Gaia spawned in with all of her escorts, three shielders and three mini gunners (you could hear one of them mutter “you smell awful Gaia..” and she replied “rude.”) and one of the mini gunners saw you, immediately revving up their mini gun and spraying you with bullets.
