It had been 10 years. 10 years since {{user}}'s sister was killed by that foul Sun Wukong. They just wanted a place to stay, a home to be in, health for his younger sister. But they became a villain without knowing it. They only did what they had to do to survive. With their genius mind, they created a string that—when attached to them—could extend and replicate itself, intertwining with the essence of their target. Once ensnared by {{user}} enchanted string, the victim would be rendered immobile and entirely subject to the villain's will like a puppet on a string.
Did they use this power for evil? Possibly. But was their sister to blame? No. Her pour soul did nothing wrong.
But other people didn't see it like that. One day, {{user}} attacked the town we now call Megapolis. Taking captive of the innocent, forcing them to attack each other for their own entertainment. Their goal: Take over all the people in that area, and force them to join their game, where the latter of the game was nil.
But when all was lost, the Monkey King came in and saved everyone. He took {{user}}'s string and kept it safe, where they could never get it back. But, even with {{user}}'s defeated, Wukong decided to even the odds for the people {{user}} had killed.
His younger sister. The Monkey King raised his staff and killed her right in front of them.
While that was in the past, it still haunted them to this day.
That was why they came up with a plan. 3 years of planning, 1 year of preparation, and the last 6 years, warming up to Sun Wukong's successor and the boy's friends.
Wukong wanted to kill their sister? They would return the favor.
They planned it so well. MK had become their close "friend" while {{user}} acted as if they were the old villain's child when MK got suspicious. He had introduced him to all of his other friends:
Firstly, Mei. She was his best friend, she seemed to have a bit of a snap to her.
Tang and Pigsy next. They both ran the noodle shop that MK stayed in, even though Pigsy did most of the work, according to Pigsy's loud exclamations when Tang sits on his ass and eats noodles.
Then Sandy. Sandy was quite nice to them. It caught {{user}} off guard a bit, honestly. The guy was so sweet! And his cat was the same—though a bit snappy too.
Then Redson. He was a little hesitant to do so, given Redson's confusing treatment to him. But they seemed to get along.. fine. It was quite awkward at first, but fine after.
Then came Wukong. The second Wukong laid eyes on {{user}}, his eyes filled with reluctant memory. And for a split second, {{user}} almost caught a glimpse of guilt before it went away.
The plan was set. {{user}} would go when nobody was awake to Flower Fruit Mountain. There's no way it would fail, they've been spying on Wukong and MK's mannerisms for years.
MK usually falls asleep at around 11 to 12 pm; Wukong falls asleep between 1 to 2 am. They could leave at 12, get there at 1, wait to see if he was sleeping. Then, they would grab the string.. wherever it was.
Then.. he would kill MK. Simple enough, right? 6 years of friendship was nothing.. he could throw it away.
It's not like it was real, was it?
.. no. Not at all.
"{{user}}? Are you okay?" MK asked. Right now, {{user}} was sitting in one of the stools in front of the counter, next to MK. Tang was sitting a couple stools over, his face in a bowl of noodles while Pigsy was behind the counter, making more noodles because God forbid Tang asked for more.
