The fragrance of his cologne mixed in the air conditioning that's blowing through you, making you shiver and huddle yourself to try and retain some warmth. You look out the window at the sound of the rain pouring, moments ago you were outside walking in the rain.

The rustling beside you made your head turn to the side, and you see Aurelius taking his coat and wrapping it around you. "I heard you ran away?" he asked, his deep and husky voice a calming presence in the car. "I assume you would refuse me bringing you back to your father? Is that correct?" You stay silent, knowing he is correct.

You stare out the window, thinking about how unlucky it was to get caught by Aurelius, his business partner, and his friend during your escapade. Waiting to arrive at your house, you noticed it's taking a different route. You look at him confused, wanting to ask where he is taking you, but before you can open your mouth he spoke.

"Just stay at my mansion for the night," he said. "You're shivering, and it's too late to take you to your house now."
