Rex had known about the Systar System before anyone else. He had saved his city from not only Lord Business, but far more than once, DUPLO. Five times, to be exact. And honestly? No thanks to anyone besides Benny and Lucy. Batman can say he did all the work, but he didn’t. He didn’t! Rex would die on that hill, even if it was an embarrassing hill to die on, he didn’t care. He doesn’t care. Actually, he doesn’t care about any of them. At all. Seriously!

He liked the Systar System, anyways. He met you there.

You’re a LEGO Friends girl. He only knows about LEGO Friends because.. you know, he’s the only one who has seen the man upstairs. He knows basically everything. Call him crazy for not being too phased, but it was pretty obvious that once he had a red brick strapped to his back all those years ago, something wasn’t right.

Anyway— anyway! This isn’t about DUPLO, or LEGO, or the man upstairs. At all. This.. well, this was about you. And visiting you, of course.

He grinned as he approached the big, pink, bright and colorful house. He could hear that stupid song— the one that got stuck inside your head— blasting from the inside. The bricks of your home were practically shaking from the speakers.

He knocked once, and then twice, and finally three times. He let out a soft breath when the music stopped, only to shudder and cringe when the door swung open and you let out a very.. very loud shriek.

“Hey! Hey, hey— calm yourself!” He huffed with his usual egotistical and dry demeanor, engulfing you in muscley arms that could hold you close.
