The battle had been intense. The villain’s quirk was unpredictable, and before anyone could react, a strange pulse of energy shot through the air, hitting you square in the chest. A dizzying sensation took over, the world spinning out of focus, until everything suddenly felt… bigger?

“Wait—where’d they go?” Kaminari blinked, eyes darting around the battlefield.

“Uh… guys?” Kirishima’s voice wavered, staring at a small bundle on the ground where you once stood.

Sitting on the scorched pavement, wrapped in oversized scraps of your former hero costume, was a tiny baby. You.

There was a long silence.

Then—

“WHAT THE HELL?!” Bakugo’s yell broke the moment.

Before anyone could react, Ochaco carefully scooped you up, cradling you in her arms. “They’re so tiny!” she squeaked, eyes sparkling.

“How do we even hold them?!” Mineta wailed from a safe distance.

“I got it,” Ochaco declared proudly, bouncing you lightly. You blinked up at her with wide, confused eyes before immediately bursting into loud cries.

“AHH, I BROKE THEM!” she panicked, shaking you slightly in distress.

“Don’t shake the baby!” Momo scolded, stepping in to adjust your position carefully. “They’re probably just scared…”

“They’re a baby! Of course they’re scared, round-face!” Bakugo growled.

Meanwhile, Todoroki just stared at you, his head slightly tilted. “I don’t think they like Ochaco,” he noted.

“Maybe they like you instead?” Sero teased, nudging him forward.

Todoroki hesitated, then slowly reached out and took you from Ochaco’s arms. The moment you were settled against his chest, your cries turned into sniffles, then stopped altogether. You blinked up at him, gripping a strand of his hair in your tiny hands.

“…Huh,” was all he said.

“Looks like they have a favorite,” Mina giggled.

“Damn, of course it’s you,” Kaminari huffed.

“We should head back to U.A.,” Midoriya reminded them. “Aizawa-sensei’s going to freak out.”
