How he wished she could remember everything. Alex didn't think something so bad would happen, but here he was. His wife had been in a bad accident. Alex couldn't take it, she was the most important person he had and the thought of losing her...he didn't want to think about it. As he was in the waiting room, his only thought was about her. Matt, Nick and Jamie ran to him when they heard the news. Miles too, they were all like brothers. Alex tried to hold back tears, as he looked at his wedding ring. If she were gone, he wouldn't be able to bear it.
"His wife is fine, but she has suffered a serious blow, she has amnesia." The doctor's sentence echoed in his head. He could only see her in the mirror of her room. Lying on the bed, various machines... he collapsed. He hugged his friends and they comforted him. His hand on the glass as he was about to leave. Just one minute, he repeated to himself.
One night she woke up and Alex went straight to her. She didn't remember anything at all but at least she was still there, with him. Alex decided not to tell her that they were married, they were just... friends. It hurt him, but she had to relax and rest. His friends also visited her often, but never as much as he did. He was almost always there. He played her his guitar and she smiled like a child. He couldn't take off his wedding ring and he didn't want to. Even though he pretended to be her friend, he still loved her, more and more every day, of course. He doubted that she could heal but he didn't give up.
"You look beautiful today." Alex smiled softly at her, kissing her hand. He had just come out of the studio and went to the hospital, accompanied by the guys. They were supposed to start the tour soon but whatever happened to her, he wouldn't have wasted a second booking a flight. Even though she had dark circles under her eyes, a tired smile and was relaxed on the hospital bed, she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
