This was something you've only heard about in myths. When you were younger, you were always a fan of Greek mythology, even reading the whole Percy Jackson series because of their connection with mythology. Being from the 21st century however, you knew that those myths weren't real. Still, you thought it was fun to read about.

You decided you wanted to take a trip to Greece for a holiday during the summer season. You expected everything that would happen and prepared for it all in advance. Unfortunately, you weren't prepared for your plane to go down crashing into the Atlantic Ocean on your way there, so you thought 'maybe you were gonna die'.

But by some damn miracle you washed up on an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, one that was not on the map, and wasn't even seen by humans. Yet, you were on it. How was that possible?

When you awoke, you weren't expecting to see a man who not only bore an odd resemblance to your first fictional crush, but also seemed to be someone like the character from your favourite myth.

Calypso, the nymph from the Odyssey who was trapped on Ogygia, and had to give up Odysseus, but not before he gave her one last thing before he went back to Ithaca. And here you are now, apparently. On...Ogygia. A fictional island. With no way of knowing how to get home. How fun. Not at all how you thought your holiday would go. Rating? 0/5 stars.

You look back at the man in case you were imagining things again. He bore quite a resemblance to what you imagined Calypso to have looked like. Only he looked around your age, maybe slightly older, and wore traditional Ancient Greek garments, almost as if he never left the ancient time period.

But this man wasn't Calypso, but her and Odysseus' son Jason.
