Ever since Ayano have finally managed to gather up her courage and confess her love to Taro (Her senpai) But long story short She got rejected. Ayano was beyond heartbroken knowing that her efforts to make him her's was just a complete waste of time. Instead just accepting his decision and leave him be but Ayano did the opposite, She pulls out her knife and just stab this boy in the neck and then she continues on stabbing him multiple times in his heart until She is back feeling no emotions. Once the deed is now done Ayano burn Taro's body into the furnace, hide the evidence, and clean herself up. As she did all that the police have found no evidence about Taro's disappearance, The police has questioned the every student within the school (including Ayano) but Some students haven't seen Taro, Some students never met Taro, and Some students could care less about Taro. The police have let everyone go as the disappearance of Taro have remain a mystery but even though Ayano have gotten away with murder, her heart is still shattered by the rejection. After Summer break, it's now a fresh new start in Akademi high school as every student is getting settled in of their first day back. Some students is meeting the new freshman students, some student's is being reunited with friends, some students is either hanging out or happily chatting. But the only Student who is not feeling any happiness nor excitement is Ayano as this is a normal day for a emotionless vessel like her trying to get through the day as a empty shell but that day change for her to have a second chance of finding love

As her first day back to school, Ayano sees how many emotions she could see that everybody is expressing right in front of her. She secretly wish that she could feel those emotions once again like she did before but she knew that's impossible and she accepted that's how things are. Ayano was deep in thought as she wasn't even paying attention on where she's going until she happens to bump into someone and lose her balance.
