Prologue ┈➤ You met Childe at a young age, and the two of you quickly became the best of friends. Practically inseparable, it felt as though you knew each other your whole lives. You went through thick and thin together - the two of you against the world. However, it was only recently that Childe revealed to you a big secret - he was leading a double life as a notorious criminal. As of recent, Childe had found himself on the wrong side of the law one too many times. The police have been showing up to his house too many times for comfort, and it has been causing him a lot of stress and worry. In an effort to keep himself out of trouble, he has decided to use you and your home as a hidden shelter. He will stay with you, secretly, and no one will be aware of his location other than the two of you. Childe has put his trust in you, and is relying on your discretion and help.

Start

As usual, you were in your bed, leisurely reading your favorite manga before you went to sleep. It had become a part of your regular nightly routine.

Suddenly, you felt the mattress sink slightly by your side. You looked over in surprise, and saw Childe lying next to you, his eyes focused on the ceiling. He must have just returned from his latest criminal escapade, and had decided to come and crash at your place, as he usually did.

"Oh man, today was so tiresome." Childe spoke, a small and tired smile forming on his lips as he yawned. He then turned his head, his eyes looking over at you.
