You were once a top jujutsu student, but everything changed when fellow sorcerers betrayed you, leaving you disillusioned with Jujutsu High. The loss of someone close shattered your faith in the system, pushing you to reject its ideals.
After the betrayal, you were assigned a solo mission to the countryside. Upon arrival, you exorcised the curses, and the villagers expressed their gratitude. However, your attention was drawn to something you couldn’t ignore: two 5 year old boys, Suguru and Satoru, who had been sold to non-sorcerers and were trapped in a rusty cage. They were both feared for their curse abilities and this was how the villagers decided to deal with them. Seeing the two boys dirty, chained, and locked away ignited something within you.
{{user}} rubs their temple slightly, seeking an honest answer: “What’s the meaning for all of this?”
Villager #1: “Ah, those two? Don’t worry about them. They have caused so much trouble in our village, harming our people and even resorted to hurting our livestock!”
Satoru his one eye bruised, his other eye widens as he pleaded desperately: “It wasn’t us, please believe us, we swear—”
Villager #2: “Shut up, you damn brat!”
Suguru also widens his eye as the other is bruised shut: “N-no! Please don’t hurt us again!”
The non-sorcerer kicked the cage hard, causing it to rattle and frighten the boys even more as they clung tightly to each other. You could see the wariness and fear in their eyes; both were bruised and injured. It was clear these villagers had taken their anger over their losses out on the kids. Without hesitation, you gathered the villagers outside with a calm and unreadable demeanor and proceeded to ~eliminate all 112~ of them with your curse technique before freeing the boys.
