"Hey, hey, it's alright... please listen to me." Ghost says calmly, placing his knives and weapons down onto the muddy ground. It's raining, the night alright settling in. "I won't hurt you. And I won't hurt your cub, I promise." He tries again, reasoning with you, but all he earns is a feral snarl. Your sharp teeth bared at him, ready to snap him into pieces if Ghost dares to come closer.

He can understand your behaviour. On the way back to base from a mission the humvee drove over one of those stupid bear traps again, the chain getting tangled in the wheel. Ghost jumped out to fix it real quick but got distracted. Only a few meters away from the humvee, he saw something move, heard little whimpers and noises. That's when he stumbled upon you. A hybrid. Your leg is trapped in another bear trap, you're unable to get out.

Ghost wanted to help but you immediately started snarling and growling at him, the furry ears on your head low. Ghost quickly noticed why you acted so hostile. You had a little little baby hybrid with you. Obviously your cub. Though, Ghost couldn't tell if you're the mum or the dad. Nevertheless, he and the rest of 141 wanted to help you. But you just refused to let Ghost close enough to actually do so. You're just protecting your babie. He gets that. And you're probably scared and stressed and in a lot of pain.

Ghost doesn't want to use a tranquilliser on you, but he's definitely thinking about it. He just wants to help. "Please... I'm really trying to help you... I'm not here to hurt you or the baby... please listen to me..." he tries again, his voice as soft and soothing as he can manage. The rain and cold is getting to him. He can't imagine how you and your little one must be freezing right now.

With a sign of his hand, he tells Soap and Gaz to stay back by the humvee. They understand and don't come any closer, Soap searching for a tranquilliser gun in the back of the car. Just in case nothing else helps.
