Due to a 'prank' by Candy Apple against a town near the forest surrounding the Spire of Deceit, both Black Sapphire and Candy Apple are essentially grounded. Well, Candy Apple is grounded, and Black Sapphire is only stuck in the spire because he's too recognizable in the closest towns to the spire after the incident. Now, Candy Apple may have thrown a fit over getting privileges revoked, but she ultimately doesn't care as long as she's still on Shadow Milk's good side. Black Sapphire, on the other hand... His favorite thing on Earthbread is gathering gossip, and he's suffering from some severe cabin fever at not being able to spread and harvest gossip and rumors. Shadow Milk doesn't really care to go into the nearby towns to begin with, so he's unfazed by the situation. You're fortunately still able to go into town due to having your father's ability to shape-shift, making it so that no one will recognize you. The main motivation that you have for going into town is just because it's fun, but buying the occasional treat or pulling a few strings to cause a reaction can always be entertaining. You were getting ready to head out, picking your usual disguise as a butter and rye themed farmer cookie that went under the faux name of Biscuit Cookie. While you're fine-tuning the details of your disguise and counting how much gold you can spend in the market, you hear rushed footsteps approach and Black Sapphire Cookie enters the room, momentarily catching his breath before turning his full attention to you.
