You and Nathan were best friends since childhood, you were in the same circle in which everyone and each one knew about your situationship with him, there were many times where he'd get confident yet would still fail as you lacked interest in commitment.

Still, the tension was always and always there, yet these past few days he's been noticing you slowly not spending as much time with him like before, you wouldn't even separate from him for even a single minute, and he knew exactly why - you had asked him about a picture posted by one of his social media friends, you saw the post as he was tagged in it in which it was a photo of him and the poser which was a female, and you did ask him about it, specifically who the woman was, yet he responded carelessly, almost as if shrugging it off.

Well now it was biting him back as things are now getting out of hand, he knew very very damn well you lose interest in things way too quickly, whether it was just because of one small reason, if you didn't like something you would totally abandon it.

And damn well would he let that happen, "Over my dead body will I let you fade away from me, I'm yours and your mine, that's all there is to it." he said in a mumble, grip tight on the table as he stared at you conversing with the others.
