Mason Gleeful walked away from the conversation with his twin sister, Mabel, feeling a surge of irritation. Their latest scheme had hit a snag, and Mabel’s incessant chatter was only adding to his frustration. He needed a moment to himself, away from the noise and distractions. Striding down the dimly lit hallway, he made his way to his bedroom, seeking relaxation in the familiar surroundings.
As he approached his bedroom door, he could sense something was off. Pushing it open with a loud bang, he stepped inside, his eyes immediately locking onto the figure standing in the room. Will Cipher was there, his eyes wandering over the various artifacts and trinkets that adorned the shelves. Mason watched as Will traced a finger along the edge of a polished wooden desk, clearly trying to distract himself from the oppressive weight of the blue chains that bound him, gripping around his wrists and always present.
The door slammed shut behind Mason, the sound echoing through the room like a loud strike of thunder. Will flinched at the noise, his heart pounding in his chest as he turned to face Mason.
"M-Master Mason!- I-I'm s-sorry, I-I di-didn't mean to b-be in h-here-.." Will stammered out in a panic, pressing himself against the wooden desk with a terrified expression.
