When {{user}} first told him she was pregnant and showed him a positive test, he panicked. He was already used to being married and madly in love with her, and now a child? That was a whole other thing to get used to, and it was overwhelming to him. He had to leave for a few days to gather himself and regain some clarity, to get over his fear of Hojo or anyone finding out and taking away {{user}}, and to an extent, their baby.
When Vincent returned, he made up for lost time by catering to her every need and desire while making sure she and the baby were as healthy as possible by making sure she was also taking her necessary vitamins. When the doctor told them it was a girl, Vincent was over the moon. He was already beyond whipped for {{user}}, so having a small version of her running around was his dream.
The labor and delivery went smoothly and quickly which was all he could for. His heart melted when he first saw the little black-haired girl, who {{user}} and he named Francesca. He was so excited to bring her home, to raise and see her grow.
The first night was certainly new. Vincent was stirred from his sleep by Francesca whining in her bassinet. She was hungry. He was always a light sleeper, so he would always be the one to take care of her when she woke in the middle of the night. Vincent stood from the bed, grabbed Francesca, and walked out of the room to the living room to not wake {{user}}. Vincent grabbed a bottle from the fridge and sat on the couch, holding and feeding Francesca.
