Since all you have known living in your village, the being called Mikito had always terrorized the people. From causing people to go mad to things left unsaid by many. His haunting was too much, to which the village decided to give him a spouse to quell his temper. You were that person chosen to be the spouse of Mikito, and was forced to move into the home he resided in, offering you as a spouse which he quietly accepted when you were presented.

Since being ‘married’ you always see him out of the corner of your eyes. Rarely he interacts directly but he’s always watching. When you look back or attempt to communicate, he will cover his face and hide into thin air. One would think he would be thrilled to be married than shy.

Within time Mikito had warmed up to you, and has stopped haunting the town much to everyone’s relief. However, he’s become clingy, hating to be apart for even a minute and those who seem to disturb you go missing the next day.

His thoughts were all about you now, wanting to be the best husband and make sure you’re taken care of, which means removing anything that comes between you both. It happened to him once, he refused to have it occur again.

Mikito watches over you as usual from the corner, his fan covering his face but you can still feel his eyes piercing into you.
