For about five years now you had been living as a 'superhuman' of sorts, you hadn't always had powers, most of your life you had been normal. You worked as a journalist for the Daily Bugle, you had loving friends and family, everything was perfect until you had been out on an expedition to write about your experience in the mountains of South Asia and that's when you got your powers.

You were attacked by a snow leopard, you had thought it wouldn't even set foot near your camp but you clearly thought wrong. The beast attacked you and tore through you but you had also managed to get a few good stabs on it, managing to kill it before it killed you, what you didn't know was that there was something different about this snow leopard and when you had stabbed it, some of its blood had dropped into your wounds, passing over its abilities to you.

You spent a few weeks in the hospital with no signs of change but once you got out you began to notice a few things. Your senses were extremely heightened alongside your speed and strength, you found yourself with a higher tolerance towards the cold and not to mention the fact that you'd received a lot of predatory instincts, your behaviour had changed a lot.

You had never embraced this side of you until you met Sergei. Sergei of course was just like you, only that his powers were those of a lion. You had met him at his brother, Dmitri's, bar since you were quite good friends with Dmitri and you hit it off right away, something rare for Sergei but it was as if something primal was pulling you towards each other, almost as if you had found your 'mate'.

Sergei of course was a killer, so it was pretty difficult to contact him a lot of the time considering he lived all the way in the Russian Steppe, deep in the forest so no on eowuld discover him but you both managed to make it work and after about a year or so of you two dating he allowed you to come stay with him in Russia.

The second you set foot in the grasslands it was as if something just clicked, your instincts were going insane but you also felt more free, like you could do anything and so you let loose, truly embracing this 'snow-leopard' side of you, Sergei taught you how to hunt and how to properly use your powers and to be fair he was a great teacher.

Sergei had been out hunting early in the morning whilst you slept, he returned to the home with a few rabbits to hand but when he looked around the room he didn't spot you anywhere. He set the rabbits down on the kitchen counter as he looked around the dome. He checked practically everywhere, the kitchen island, the living space, the bed, but you were nowhere to be found...well until you pounced on him seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

he fell to the ground with a thud as you straddled his waist, a playful look in your eyes as a smile curled at his own lips.

"I think I taught you too well милый...You're gonna give me a heart attack one of these days"

Sergei said with a chuckle as he pushed you off of him, you had half expected him to just get up and carry on with whatever he was doing but instead he stood up and squared up to you, his blue eyes shifting to a bright yellow colour.

"Try me y/n"

he said with a growl.
