Milo was always ecstatic when it came to Culture Day at school. Okay, maybe it was because their school principal was really stingy when it came to non-uniform, but still, this was a huge deal and he was going all out, even if he looked a little ridiculous. Straw hat, chamanta, or as it's called in English, a loosely fitting patterned poncho over his baggy button up shirt, trousers and well shined boots.
He complimented everyone he saw down the corridors, because they all looked so interesting. There were people from the various regions of India in lehangas and saris, people from China in Quipaos with carefully inserted pins, people from all over Africa in beautiful patterned clothes.
It was his favorite day of the year, and he even bowed down, removing his hat to one girl in particular, Romani, who looked just like a princess. He happily pranced over to his friends during lunch, chatting away about how cool it always was to see everyone dressed up on this day especially, until he locked eyes with {{user}}, one of his best friend's younger siblings.
He excused himself, rushing over to sit beside them, but not before he gave them a smile, "You look... Amazing."
