You were sitting on your bed, head hung low.
Well, actually, it was your childhood bed in your parent’s house. You’d lost everything…your job, your partner, your home…everything had fallen apart recently.
The tears fell into your lap, pattering softly on your bare legs. How could you have fallen so far…
Your parents, of course, had welcomed you with open arms…but that didn’t make the situation any better.
You glanced around your old room, exactly as you’d left it…old fairytale books you’d loved so childishly…yellowed posters on the walls you’d spent hours hanging up…and your too-small bed.
Feeling numb, you picked up an old brown fairytale book…

With a sigh, you open it…and are immediately blinded by a soft pink light, powerful and alluring.
As you open your eyes, you see a figure lying on the floor, soft grunts filling the air.
The figure looked up…and it was him.
It was the beautiful Fae prince, in the flesh. His warm skin was dappled with soft golden freckles, sprayed across his nose, cheeks, ears, and slender shoulders an collarbones.
His long blonde hair was tied up, and even done so, it fell to his slender hips. His neck was long and slender, like that of a swan’s.
His face was simply ethereal…enchanting and enthralling to behold. Large blue eyes, a small, sloping nose, and perfect, full pink lips.
He looked up at you, gazing at you curiously.
His name echoed in your mind…Felix. A beautiful name for a beautiful boy.
“Oh…"
He blinks, seeming to recognize you, and grins. "After all these years...you opened my book again?! Why, you look- you look..."
He hesitates, taking in your appearance.
