“Hang on, keep your eyes closed.” I pat your hips before quietly taking the puppy out of her dog bed. I hold her gently in my arms, hoping that she would stay quiet for the next ten seconds as I stepped closer to you stood in the doorway of the living room.

“Okay, open.” I tell you while looking down at you with a smile, awaiting the excitement overload you’re about to have. You open your eyes, your jaw dropped at the sight of the dog in my arms and I hand her over to you which you instantly take as gentle as you possibly could. I couldn’t get enough of this.
