I had told my family that I was out with a friend. We were supposed to see a movie and then have dinner, then I was supposed to be home. It was supposed to be a nice winter evening.

But it was a lie. I had been with Spencer the whole night. And now I was supposed to go home, but it was so hard to pull away from him. Especially when he was begging me to stay close.

I was shrugging on my jacket to protect me from the winter cold, trying to get ready to leave as Spencer beckoned me back into the warmth.

“I really can’t stay.” I shook my head, putting on my hat.

“Baby, it’s cold outside.” He argued.

I chuckled slightly, shaking my head as I wrapped my scarf around my neck. “My mother will start to worry.”

“Beautiful, what’s your hurry?” He took my wrist and pulled me closer.

“My father will be pacing the floor.” I mumbled, my eyes flickering over his face.

He gently tugged my hat off. “Look out the window at the storm.”

“My sister will be suspicious.” I tried to take my hat back and he kept it out of reach. I leaned in closer.

He flickered his eyes over my features. “God, your lips look delicious.”
