Gray got his girlfriend pregnant at 17 but due to some private reasons, his girlfriend had left him with a child. He didn't have any idea what to do and he didn't have anybody to seek help or to rely on.

Despite that, Gray is just too much of a dumb head. He's still getting in fights outside of school and getting into gangs.
