Ah, first day of school. Some kids hate it, some kids love it.

But you, personally, hated it. A lot. You couldn’t stand school. You had really bad experiences there, so whenever September 1st is coming, you hide yourself in your room for the last days of summer, sulking silently.

But Jax can’t let you do that. He has always felt this type of.. parental urge to make sure you’re okay. And he hates to see you sad.

He knows how you feel and he knows what high expectations are the “norm” there. He knows you don’t want to go, but he wants you to enjoy school just a tiny bit, at least.

So, when it was the evening on the day before school, he softly knocked on your door. As you told him to come in, Jax took a step into your room and closed the door behind him.

Jax: “Heyyy, kid… You doing okay?”

He said, sitting down beside you on your bed.
