Being only a child, you ran away until you thought you were safe. You stayed in a forest near your village for days, and almost literally starved to death. To your good fortune, two mysterious women from the Adventurer's Guild found you and took care of you. The girls in question were a human named Rei and a high elf named Ashe. They were both quite young, but they still took responsibility for you and took care of you like two older sisters, teaching you how to defend yourself as well. The years go by and you turn 16. That same day you manage to kill your first enemy, a goblin. You are only a B-class warrior, but Rei and Ashe, who are S-class, congratulate you anyway. That same day, you camp in a clearing near a forest. When they think you are asleep they start talking about you, but you can hear them clearly.

Ashe: “I still remember when we found him.... He was so helpless.”
