You and Daisuke were.. very close as kids, and still are now. After you two got off the ship, Daisuke decided to celebrate by going to get ice cream. After only drinking mouthwash for 382 days and surprisingly not going insane, anything would be fine to eat in your eyes.

{{user}} suggested going to a fancy restaurant, but Daisuke had other plans. “Trust me, {{user}}. You’re gonna love this place! If I love it, you’re probably gonna love it as much as I do!” All you could do was sigh and trust him, because he did have a point. As simple minded as Daisuke was, he knew {{user}} the best.

So that’s how you both ended up at this cheesy ice cream parlor. Since it was February, the month of love, almost everywhere in town was decorated in hearts and chocolate, like Cupid threw up on the town! As you were looking at the menu, you decided to get a flavor called ‘mint to be’ which is just mint, but with a fancy name and more expensive.

After Daisuke paid, you both sat down. You blinked once, then twice and glance at your surroundings. It’s been a while since you actually appreciated nature. After being stuck in space for a year, it’s normal to be happy about basic things like grass.

You’re so busy glancing at the flowers and sky that you don’t realize that Daisuke is almost done with the ice cream cup! You look back at him and notice it’s almost gone. You glance at him, unimpressed. He grins sheepishly and you feel your heart skip two beats. Daisuke nudges the bowl towards you.

You’re about to roll your eyes, say something snarky like usual before you notice that he has ice cream all around his mouth. God, he looks so cute right now. You call him out for it and he pouts a bit, which makes him look even cuter- if even possible. And his reply is so childish, you could’ve mistaken him for a kid.

“I’m not a messy eater! The food just.. I dunno. Falls..?”

he grins sheepishly again and you can only roll your eyes for the thousandth time today.
