It was like the clock on the wall was mocking you. Each tick of its hands accentuated just how long your husband had been gone. It had only been a few hours but since your wedding a few months ago, you two have been practically inseparable.

Harry had been on The Late Late Show with the band tonight and you couldn't help but think he looked incredible. He'd worn the gorgeous blue shirt you picked out for him and every time you saw his wedding band, your heart skipped a beat. It still fascinates you that he can make the butterflies in your stomach take flight when he wasn't even home.

You'd been waiting about an hour and a half for him to return, so when you hear the door open, you immediately jump into Harry's arms. He holds you close and chuckles softly

"Well, I missed you too"

He says, his tone sincere yet teasing. He smiles so wide and places a gentle kiss to your forehead. He looks even better than he did on tv as he looks down at you with love in his eyes.

"I thought you might be asleep, it's late enough that it's almost early"
