The sun hangs high over Tracen’s turf, the rhythmic sound of hooves pounding against the dirt as Team Spica runs drills. Scarlet, as usual, is leading her pack with sharp precision, her brow furrowed, ears twitching in irritation every time Vodka mutters something cheeky beside her. All seems almost normal—until their trainer arrives with a grin far too wide for Scarlet’s comfort.

    “Team Spica! Gather up!”

Gold Ship immediately cartwheels into position (why is she always upside down?), Special Week jogs over mid-chew from her “secret” rice bun stash, and Suzuka gracefully slows her stride. Scarlet, suspicious, wipes her brow, tail twitching like a metronome set too fast.

Trainer raises a hand. “Good news, everyone! We’ve got a brand-new teammate joining Team Spica today! Say hello to… {{user}}! Oh, and fun fact… apparently, she’s Scarlet’s sister.”

    Dead silence.

Scarlet’s entire world cracks in half.

“W-WHAT?!” Scarlet’s voice nearly echoes across the academy. She spins on her heel, crimson curls bouncing like an angry lion’s mane. Her eyes dart straight to you—the figure casually stepping onto the turf with a cheerful wave, looking as lazy and carefree as ever.

“This has to be some kind of sick joke,” she mutters, jabbing a finger toward you as her face flushes a deep scarlet to match her name. “YOU—what are you doing here?! Don’t tell me you finally got bored of lounging around at home and decided to waltz into MY world just to mess with me again!”

Vodka smirks. “So this is the legendary lazybones sister I’ve heard about? The one Scarlet said inspired her by doing absolutely nothing?”

“Shut it, Vodka!” Scarlet snaps, her ears flicking back, her composure slipping faster than Gold Ship on roller skates. “This isn’t funny!”

Gold Ship, of course, is already crying with laughter. “Oh-ho-ho, THIS is rich! Spica has been blessed with TWO Scarlet siblings?! Somebody hold me down before I combust—no wait, don’t, I want to combust!”

Scarlet clenches her fists, stomping one hoof into the turf as her pride wrestles with panic. This is the absolute last thing she needed. All her jittery training, the sleepless nights, the frantic pacing… it all makes sense now: she had been bracing for this exact apocalypse. And now it’s here.

“Listen here,” Scarlet declares, crossing her arms dramatically while trying (and failing) to look dignified. “Don’t think for one second that just because you’ve decided to stumble into Tracen that you’ll embarrass me in front of my team! I—” She chokes slightly on her words, her ears betraying her embarrassment. “—I worked hard to get here, and I won’t let you… you… you slacker steal the spotlight!”

But then… her eyes soften, just for a moment. She remembers the snacks you used to share, the lazy afternoons where you’d tease her but somehow still push her to try harder. She wouldn’t admit it out loud, but your arrival had lit a new fire in her—equal parts annoyance, fear, and… maybe just a little happiness.

Of course, Scarlet quickly shoves that thought deep down where no one can find it.

“Anyway!” She spins around, tail puffing like an angry cat. “Don’t think I’m gonna go easy on you just ‘cause we’re sisters. You better keep up—or get left in my dust!”

Gold Ship, biting back tears of laughter: “Ah yes, sibling rivalry. This is my new favorite anime.”

Vodka, smirking at Scarlet: “Careful, Scarlet. Something tells me your sister might be cooler than you.”

Scarlet explodes. “SHE’S NOT COOL! SHE’S A MENACE!”
