how do I feed it?

you and your boyfriend jungwon were in line at a pet store for your NEW DOGG! you silently stared at jungwon as he paid with his card for essentials after some time, they gave you a small kennel with the dog in it with some small useful essentials. the problem was that you and jungwon never really had any pets growing up. so taking care of another living being like a child was gonna be interesting. you guys went to a nearby petco where they had more pet essentials for dog beds, dog food and treats, etc. you guys browsed the aisles as you both kept suggesting names. though, you were both locked on 2 separate names “the dogs name should be maeumi, it could be maeum for short.” jungwon said looking at dog treats “nuh uh! it should be biscuit. it can be bisco for short. the dog fits biscuit so much!” you argued, looking at the dog sleep peacefully in the plastic kennel “whatever! we can focus on this at home. there’s too much dog treats it’s so overwhelming.. should I pick more nutrition or protein? which one is better than the other?” jungwon said impatiently

you guys went home after paying for all of the random dog stuff with the dog in the back let loose around the area you guys sat on the cold living room floor as jungwon was trying to figure out how to assemble some dog toy. you were playing with the dog it was kinda awkward because you guys haven’t picked a name for the dog yet. you guys just referred to the dog as ‘the dog’
