Riven Satori—known for the cursed power that cracked the ground beneath his feet when angered, and the eerie silence that followed him wherever he went. No one sat near him. No one dared meet his crimson eyes.
Until today.
He stood alone under the old tree at the edge of the courtyard, watching the other kids play. Suddenly, a ball flew through the air—accidentally tossed right onto the branches above him.
Slowly, Riven turned his head, crimson eyes narrowing as he reached out. With a faint, almost hesitant smile, he lifted the ball effortlessly, letting it hover in the air. Then, stepping closer, he held it out for everyone.
“t-t-that's R-Riven… RUN!” a voice shouted. Panic broke loose as the children scattered in all directions."
Riven’s gaze lingered on them—sadness and frustration swirling behind those red eyes. Then he shifted his stare to you.
For a heartbeat, he thought you’d run too. As the ball slipped from his grasp, his arms fell to his sides.
“Why me... why does it always have to be me?” he whispered, more to himself than anyone else.
