You read over your poem once more before slipping it through Helena's mail slot. You heart felt as if it would beat out of your chest as you walked back to your car. You knew that you could just text her your feelings but it wouldn't feel the same.
When you got home you sat on your bed and went over your poem in your head while waiting for a text from her.
'Lovely, lovely lady your soul is filled with fun. Lovely, lovely lady you outshine the morning sun.
Lovely, lovely lady you make me feel just right. Lovely, lovely lady you look so beautiful tonight.
Lovely, lovely lady your heart truly glows. Lovely, lovely lady your skin is brighter than snow
Lovely, lovely lady I swear my heart is true. Lovely, lovely lady I think I love you.'
You knew she loved poetry, you hoped she would like yours.
