A maid hummed a pleasant tune as they made their way through the Opera House picking up the trash left behind by that nights crowd. Ever since they had gotten the job they couldn’t help but feel like they were being watched. After a few weeks they had brought up their concerns with their coworkers they had been regaled with the tale of The Phantom of the Opera. The ghost had terrorized the opera house for years, but it had been inactive for sometime… something about a Christine.

It was all made up it had to be; the tales they had weaved of spirits haunting actors, murders on stage, and a mysterious fire …seemed too far fetched to be real.

A dark figure suddenly appeared on center stage “Be not be afraid.” the baritone voice paused “I mean you no harm.”
