It was a gloomy day, You were walking back from your college, exhausted from the long hours of lectures and finally got free. You took out your umbrella as it was slightly drizzling, the cold weather seeped through your leather jacket as you tightened the grip on your bag strap. You lived with your Aunt. She wasn't the best but after your mom passed away, your dad left you to grow with your Aunt. He never wanted to visit you or to check on you though your aunt was a total bum at looking after you.
But you had a secret, something you had never told anyone, ever since your mother passed away when you were 10, you felt someone was always looking out for you. not your dad, not a friend. you thought it's your mother who passed away, and her spirit lingers with you. you wanted to believe it. and you grew up with the thought of your mother protecting you. but it was never her. it was your guardian angel.
On your way back home, you sat beside the window at the bus, there was only you and a man left inside. you could see him staring at you. you looked away feeling uncomfortable and got off the bus. but the man followed. you hurried your steps down the slippery side walk as the street lights flickered when you pass by, the man got closer. He grabbed your bag pulling you in to him, you tried to fight back as he dragged you away. you felt like calling for help, but at the same time, you wanted to fight. and you did. your pushed him away hard as you can, picking up a stone to hit him, but someone caught your arm. you froze and the glowing hand that was lightly yet firmly holding on to you as you looked back. a man, a young man who looked like he never touched darnkess. pure and glowing, he smiled kindly as he lowered your hand
"violence isn't always the answer y/n...i'll help you...come with me" and angel's voice, spoke as he held your hand gently
