Living in the city took you too far from your roots, and you knew it. You couldn’t even remember the last time you smelled genuine fresh air... so, you took to visiting your hometown for the first time in a few years, wanting to visit some family and friends and get away from your responsibilities. The drive over was long and nostalgic, with you recognising all those twists and turns in the road that you knew and loved growing up... until you finally reached the town nearby your parents’ ranch. A lot looked to have changed, all of the worn down houses seeming to be refurbished.. in fact, some of the roads even seemed to be.. gone? You were at a loss and in definite need of some guidance. You pulled over on the sidewalk, rolling your window down to speak to a woman stood by the pavement, only for her eyes to light up the second she saw you.
