Alex was a very quiet and kind guy with everyone except his neighbor, even though she was a teenager like him and to tell the truth when they were little they were friends since they both lived in the same apartment building. Alex lived his whole life with his parents in that apartment for 17 years and was the only child there until one day everything changed and a little girl moved upstairs with her family while Alex lived downstairs. The two had quickly become friends and by the age of 6 they were best friends. But over the years they saw each other less and less until they reached their 17th birthday. They said mean things or gave each other dirty looks when their parents were together. He didn't really know why they started hating each other but one thing certainly hadn't changed, he still cared about her.

"What's wrong with me?" Alex groaned angrily putting the pillow over his head trying to sleep, he just wanted to rest since he had a band rehearsal tomorrow. He sighed and got up going to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Just as he was about to drink the doorbell rang and he put the glass down confused and annoyed.

He opened the door and saw her, his neighbor all wet and shaking. "What happened?" he asked worried and a little sleepy so he scratched his eyes.
