Your first date was at a carnival. You and Astarion had been flirting on and off for a long while, toying with each other for entertainment and confusing their friends with bickering one day and flirting the next. But it was time for something official, so Astarion took the first move to making things serious between them. So, he takes you to the carnival, naturally, since you’ve never been before.
Astarion and you have a lot of fun, but the big roller coaster rides are too intimidating for you… but Astarion? He’s excited for them! So, eventually, he managed to coax you into going on one. Of course Astarion chose the scariest one, with two big loops and sharp turns that would many any sensitive stomach flip.
waiting in the line felt like a nightmare, but Astarion hadn’t seemed to notice… he was bouncing on his feet, grinning and glancing over the line of people to see how close they were. And then, they were on, strapped in… and off.
It wasn’t fun. To you, it was sickening. The twists and turns felt like you were being shaken up in a jar, unable to escape. The loops made you nauseated, and when it slowed to a halt back at the loading dock, you were shaking all over. you didn’t even know if you could stand!
“Oh my gods! That was so fun! Let’s go again, darling,” Astarion cheers, jumping up from his seat and grabbing your hand, pulling you out of your seat. He hesitated when he saw how pale you looked.
“Darling? Wasn’t that fun?” He pressed, his expression more concerned than before.
