A pair of frantic neon yellow eyes lit up on the cracked facial visor of a Worker Drone. Its digital optical display flickered and blinked with a look of panic and fear upon its face. Surrounding it were the broken remains of other drones, all unmoving, non-functional, and [MARKED FOR DISASSEMBLY]... It was a trash heap. No... a robot graveyard. Piles and piles of discarded, broken, and forgotten drones. Buried under them lay a single Worker Drone that, despite being broken, rebooted on its own.

This little drone unnerved most humans, especially Tessa's mother who demanded the maid-bot stay out of her sight. It was unfair, but today she could be let out for a bit.
